Grand Theft Auto Online adds seven new vehicles in latest update
Filed under: Toys/Games

Fans of Grand Theft Auto Online have a pretty expansive upgrade to look forward to. Called the "I'm Not a Hipster" Update, it makes a number of significant additions to the game, adding new outfits, accessories and weapons. We don't much care about any of that, though, because the big news is that there are a number of new vehicles attached to the update.
As is so often the case with GTA, the seven new models included in this latest update are all not-so-thinly-veiled replicas of actual production cars. You'll no doubt recognize GTA's version of the Mercedes-Benz AMG 6x6, the Benefactor Dubsta 6x6, shown above. While not every player will be able to access this brute (it's limited to players that have reached level 100), the other vehicles will be available regardless of rank.
Those include the Benefactor Glendale (an early 1980s W123 Mercedes S-Class with the headlights of a W108), the Benefactor Panto (a Smart Fortwo), the Declasse Rhapsody (think Mark 1 Volkswagen Golf meets AMC Gremlin), the Vapid Blade (a Ford Falcon) and the Vulcar Warrener (the excellent Datsun 510). While those are all splendid additions to the game, the early favorite among the Autoblog staff is the Lampadati Pigalle, which is just an amalgamation of old French and Italian cars, including the Citroën SM.
Naturally, each of these vehicles can be upgraded accordingly, allowing gamers to put their own unique spin with new wheels, body modifications, paint and performance upgrades.
The upgrade came out yesterday, so if you've got some free time and fancy ironically driving around San Andreas in a rusted ripoff of an old Citroën, now is your chance. Take a look below for the official announcement from Rockstar, which includes details on other tweaks and changes that come with the new update.
